Dr Grotenhuis did his undergraduate studies at St. Olaf College and UW-Madison. He then attended Creighton University Dental School from which he graduated in 1999. After dental school, Dr Grotenhuis began his practice in Morrisville, Vermont at Brigham Dental Care. In late 2000, Dr. Grotenhuis chose to join Forest View Dental because of his partiality to the Fox Valley area and the proximity to Rhinelander, which allows his children to be close to his extended family.

Dr. Grotenhuis enjoys many activities outside of his dental practice.   These diversions range from rugby to volleyball, and he also spends time outdoors with his family. He enjoys coaching his children in hockey and other sports, and being involved with his church.  He and his wife, Joanna, have two daughters, Kelsey and Milija, and four sons, Logan, Nicholas, Owen, and Paul.

Dr. Grotenhuis is honored that his patients have confidence in him to help them in the maintenance of their dental health because he understands that his patients have many options available. As part of his efforts to provide the best dental care possible Dr. Grotenhuis strongly believes in continuing his own education. He is committed to learning the latest in technology and products and is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Grotenhuis believes in preventative dentistry and especially in helping patients through the anxiety they may feel in the dentist chair. He is also committed to helping children straighten their teeth by using advanced interceptive orthodontic techniques and helping adults look their best using the latest technology, Invisalign.  He will make every effort to ensure your dental health is the best it can possibly be.
