“Several years ago I was diagnosed with sleep apnea.  For three months, I tried to sleep with a CPAP machine with no success.  I think I actually slept worse.  Against the advice of my MD, I signed off on refusing treatment.  My MD and I talked about other alternatives.  She mentioned a dental device and suggested that I contact a dental group.  I asked Dr Grotenhuis about this and he told me of the training that he just went through.  I made the appointment and a short while later I had my dental device that holds my jaw forward and the airway open.  It has been about a year now and I am sleeping better, even dreaming again.  I no longer fall asleep in afternoon meetings except during extremely boring speakers.  My wife even tells me that my snoring has decreased tremendously.  I am grateful to have found this device and Dr Grotenhuis.”  Gary G.
